Dienst, Frank T., MD, FCCP

Frank Dienst, MD is an intensivist and assistant medical director of the hospitalist program at Parrish Medical Center. Specializing in critical care medicine for inpatients with acute medical conditions at Parrish Medical Center, Dr. Dienst has special expertise in pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine including extensive experience in the management of critical illnesses for over 36 years.

He received a bachelor of science with honors in psychology from Tulane University in 1973, followed by a doctor of medicine in 1977. He completed an internal medicine residency at St. Paul’s Hospital in Dallas, Texas, as well as a pulmonary fellowship with Baylor University in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Dienst has practiced with Parrish Medical Center since 1984. He also practices sleep medicine and does outpatient consults for sleep at Parrish Medical Group’s Port St. John Facility Sleep Lab by appointment only.
